Ingredients

  • 4 Boneless-skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 Cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp. Olive oil
  • 2 Juiced lemons
  • 1 tsp. Dried oregano
  • 1 Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Equipment

  • 1 Large Oven Safe Skillet
  • 1 Medium Bowl
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Cutting Board

Method

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and oregano. Once sizzling, place the chicken in the skillet and sear for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  2. Next, add the minced garlic, followed by the lemon juice, ensuring that it evenly coats the chicken. Allow the mixture to simmer for a couple of minutes. Then, transfer the entire skillet to the preheated oven and roast the chicken for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  3. Once cooked, let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley for a pop of color and enhance the dish's vibrant presentation. This one-pan meal not only embodies convenience but also serves as an excellent addition to your collection of weeknight chicken meals, as it requires little hands-on time and serves rich flavors that the whole family will enjoy.
